So far it seems to be running ok but this is without the ccc control As you will know the card drivers are now legacy.
Current driver i have installed is the legacy cat 10 2 driver without the ccc Now here is the problem.. Im on windows xp sp3 (fully updated) My mobo is an old asus a7v8x-x My cpu is Athlon xp 2600+ Apparently I am susposed to set the aperture size of my gfx card 'powercolor x1650 512mb gddr2 agp' to 215 mb.. I have a powercolor atix1650 pro 512 mb agp card, would my system run better with the hd 2400/2600 or 3650.. I do most of my gaming on my ps3 my pc is fine for browsing its just that i sometimes like to play some average games on the net an would like my gfx setup to be perfect.. As of recent some programs like for example 3Dice casino will not start up but when i had the aperture set to 256 and the gfx settings got lowered to that lowest resolution with 4bit gfx the app started up but obviously with messed up gfx.. Now i know that most of you will probably say why not just stick with 64 or 128 aperture but i read somewhere that this should be set higher with this type of card..
